Cell phones may only be out in the hallways during the following times:

During instructional time, cell phones must not be out in the hallways even for quick phone calls or text to confirm pickups or other reasons. Please direct students to wait for the appropriate time or direct them to the office to contact home.  If students need to reach out to family, they can come to the office to use their cell phone, and it is not used in the hallway, bathroom, or stairwell. 

At lunch, cell phones can only be out in the cafeteria, library, or outside.

Cell phones should not be visible in the hallways unless it’s during the designated times listed above.

Cell phones should not be in use at any time once you have entered a classroom unless your teacher has explicitly told you that you may take out and use your phone for a lesson.  Teachers must get advanced approval from school administration if they plan to use cell phones for any part of a lesson.
